Becky & Kelly are back in Indonesia with the boys for at least 2 yrs...
Kelly is working for Freeport Indonesia at the Grasberg mine, world's largest goldmine. It's located in W Papua province north of Australia. Click an image to enlarge.

This map is from an old atlas when New Guinea was a Dutch colony.
The Dutch left after WWII, and this area became the province of Irian Jaya in Indonesia. It's now called West Papua.

Timika was named Mimika on this map.
If you click on this map, it links to a Business Week site that shows the size of the Freeport mine operation.
Becky, Satchel & Clay visited in Jan.
They were enroute from FL to Indonesia. Here they are loading a new computer game on Poppa's PC.
Making cookies!
Satchel, Clay & Delaney helping Mamie.
Getting cold & muddy on ATV
Delaney is hidden in the helmet & goggles.
An early Birthday with family.
It was about a week early for Satch & month early for Clay.
Another Birthday with new friends.
This one was late for Satch but close to Clay's. Kids can never have too many parties or too much cake!
And more presents too!
Does Satchel get excited, or what?
Satchel with monkey.
The boys spent their Spring break on Bali. This monkey at a park adopted Satch.
Native kids from a village near the mine.
The kids (Clay's age) carry knives for foraging (and fighting over) edible plants on the side of the trail. As you can see from their picture, they live in the mud and seem to have no desire to wipe their runny noses.
Kelly resting along a trail.
Some of natives do some hiking too.
Becky climbing a 15er.
Notice the clouds at the top of the photo. Grasberg is known as the "Gold mine in the clouds".
Satch & Clay feeding fish in Australia.

The boys have cool shirts made of swimsuit material for greater sun protection. The sun is very intense in Australia.
